Dreamfarm: Where ideas grow. Once upon a time in a land down under, a 22-year-old Lego-loving-MacGyver-wannabe named Alex took his first backyard-invention, the Grindenstein, down to the local markets to seek his fortune. As luck would have it, on that day, the owner of a nearby kitchenware store happened upon Alex and his creation. It was on that day in 2003 that 'Dreamfarm' was born.

At Dreamfarm, we live by the 3 Dreamfarm Design Rules: 1) The product must solve a problem, 2) The product must be original, and 3) The product must work the best.

The patented shock-absorbing design allows you to simply tap your portafilter against the knock bar and directly into the 445ml stein to empty out the used grounds – no mess, no fuss.

Built from sturdy ABS plastic with a solid steel core and covered in a durable rubber sleeve that absorbs blows, the Grindenstein is quiet to use, near impossible to break, and dishwasher safe. Its short and sweet design allows it to sit on your espresso machine's drip tray for space-saving storage, and we've even included a small informational booklet to show you how to put your waste coffee grounds to use and recycle.
